Exciting News: The Cinderella Project Evolves into "Red Carpet Ready" - A Rebound Community Project!

Dear Beloved Community,

We're thrilled to share a significant evolution within our cherished initiative! The Cinderella Project has transformed into "Red Carpet Ready," and we couldn't be more excited about the positive impact this change will bring to our community.

Why the Change?

In our ongoing commitment to inclusivity, we're expanding our project to embrace the diversity of our youth. "Red Carpet Ready" now not only provides enchanting dresses and accessories but also includes dashing suits and masculine clothing. Every young person deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and empowered, regardless of gender identity. By widening our scope, we aim to create an environment where every youth, regardless of gender, can embrace their uniqueness and shine brightly on their special day.

How Can You Support?

We invite our community to continue their incredible support by donating gently used prom and graduation dresses, accessories, suits, and masculine clothing. Let's come together and ensure that every youth feels "Red Carpet Ready" for their moment in the spotlight.  Stay tuned for drop-off locations and dates coming soon!

What is the Red Carpet Ready?

Red Carpet Ready at Rebound collects new and almost-new formal dresses, suits, shoes and accessories, and provide them free of charge to area school students who are unable to purchase their own prom or graduation attire.

We distribute the clothing and accessories during our scheduled Boutique Day. Each youth receives individual assistance from a volunteer personal shopper as they look through our inventory.

Our ultimate goal is to have a positive influence on youth by helping them to look and feel confident celebrating their accomplishments alongside their peers on these momentous occasions.

How can I donate a dress, suit or accessories?

Our collection of dresses', suits and accessories will begin again in January of 2025. Please hold onto any donations until then.

If I don’t have an item to donate, how do I help or get involved?

To volunteer for the Red carpet Ready contact Sarnia-Lambton Rebound’s volunteer coordinator by emailing or calling 519-344-2841.

You can create a dress drive of your own!
