Spectrum is an inclusive drop-in open to all lesbian,gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit and questioning (LGBTQ2+) youth in Sarnia-Lambton.
Goals of Spectrum:
To ensure a safe space for all youth who identify as LGBTQ2+
To combat homophobia and transphobia in our community through community outreach and educational campaigns
To help youth gain self-confidence and feel comfortable in their respective identities
Youth will experience:
One-on-one support
A place where they find acceptance
Knowledge of LGBTQ2+ history
Friendships
Hear guest speakers who identify as LGBTQ2+
Fun through art, board games and movie nights
Opportunities to participate in community events
Spectrum meets Bi-weekly, Wednesdays 4-5:30 pm Jr.Program (12-16) & 6-7:30 pm Sr. Program (17-24).
