Spectrum is an inclusive drop-in open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit and questioning 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Sarnia-Lambton.
Goals of Spectrum:
To ensure a safe space for all youth who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+
To combat homophobia and transphobia in our community through community outreach and educational campaigns
To help youth gain self-confidence and feel comfortable in their respective identities
Youth will experience:
One-on-one support
A place where they find acceptance
Knowledge of 2SLGBTQIA+ history
Friendships
Hear guest speakers who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+
Fun through art, board games and movie nights
Opportunities to participate in community events
Spectrum runs weekly drop-in on Wednesday’s and alternates between Jr. (12-16) 4:00 – 6:00 and Sr. (17-24) 5:00 – 7:00.
