Why Volunteer?

The success of Rebound has always hinged on the continued commitment and dedication of our volunteers. These positive role models are vital to the direction and coaching of our youth.

Rebound relies on about 100 volunteers that invest thousands of hours in building a stronger community.

Who Can Volunteer?

Adults that enjoy interacting with youth make great Rebound volunteers. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but share certain qualities, promoting respect and trust.

Volunteers must be 19 years of age and are required to undergo a criminal background check and provide two references. After completing an interview, orientation and training session, new volunteers are matched with an experienced volunteer.

What Our Volunteers Say

“ I have a lot of satisfaction just knowing that there is a program available that wasn’t there when I was a teenager. I still feel as passionate about it as I ever did.”

Kim Howlett - 18-year volunteer

“When I walk out, I feel so good every night because I know we’ve helped someone.”

Chelsea Trumble - new volunteer

There are several volunteers positions available, with times varying from day to evening and commitments, ranging from one day to 12 weeks.
